Default woods hood shock kit install

Thought i would post some pics of the woods hood shock kit i installed today to help with anyone's install.It's a cool kit and a nice feature to add to your JK.

Hood bracket location

punch it

drill it(be careful the metal is thin here)

attach hood bracket(i tightened it down and drilled the second hole)

hood bracket mounted in position

lower bracket location

lower bracket position

passenger side

driver side

hood prop

no more hood prop needed

Many JK's started to show up with no insulation or lamp. I don't have either.

Very nice, fish! Qne question. How hard is it to close the hood? The hood is aweful thin so is there any flex to it when you close it? Thanks.

No it's real easy to close ,there is no flex.Think woods got the shock rating just right.
