Default Wraparound Windjammer on a 4-door! No Mods

The install was pretty strait forward, I did not have to add any material to the windjammer. I have the Bestop Safari top on, but it leaves a few gaps in the rear by the window surround. I ordered the Mopar Sunbonnet, it looks like it will fit much better and cover the area in the rear, so it will seal better. I used velcro to secure the duster to the windjammer, I'll eventually have the velcro sewn to the windjammer and duster to help better the seal. I love the half-top look and will see how it holds up on the trip to Tennesee. And if your wondering about the exterior rack, I bought the rack at Wal-mart for $29.99. It's a hitch rack for an ATV. I made my own hardware to attach to the roll bar and used some aluminum square tubing and c-clamps to attach to the roll bar.

I paid around $140.00 shipped for the windjammer from 4WD.com. The wind noise is'nt bad, I will have the Mopar version of the safari top on by the end of the week. There has'nt been any rain yet so will see how it holds up.

I don't have the part # for the duster but the windjammer is 80041-35 on 4WD.com, it's the one for the 2-door.

quick question...did you have to remove the seat belt to insert it in the hole?

Ok so

The windjammer is the Besttop 2-door wrap around correct?

the Duster is the Mopar Duster or the Besttop Duster?

Looks pretty sweet if you ask me, I want to do the exact same setup.

I assume the back seats sit right on top of the windjammer? I think that is why the other guy who had the fabric added did that.

It looks like you have some kind of padding over your rear door surrounds...is that to protect the door surrounds or to make it more weather proof.

Also, adding the velcro technically fits the definition of "mod." I mean if sticker addition or removal and drilling the side view mirrors count as mods...this would fit the bill too. But I will leave that up to more experienced viewers

would you mind taking a picture with your doors off with just the windjammer and duster, no doors or safari top.

just wondering what it would look like "open". i would like to run a similar setup, but if undoing the rear seatbelt all the time to take off the wraparound windjammer is not an option. i guess you could sew in a zipper...

This is the setup I have been wanting to run. Is there a way to remove the rear section of the roll bar padding? In in La and between the rain and humidity I worry about mildew factor.
