Default Snorkel

Hello, I would just like to ask suggestion because my dad and I are planning to install a snorkel on our 2019 JL so this is my first choice of the item so far but thinking it may help the engine lessen the prone to ingesting water or this just help to intake cold air for the engine https://www.allmoparparts.com/sku/82215350ab.html any other suggestion or recommendation?

Funny how the snorkels all have the intake facing forward when they should face back as that is where the high pressure air usually is. Ask GM as back in the late 60's early 70's they did tests on the Trans Am cars that is why the TA had the backward facing scoop.
To get back on track, that looks like a good snorkel and should have good seal and fit around the air cleaner **important** as it was made for Jeep Corporation. Watch out for trees wanting to keep it in the bush.

For Snorkel.. you can not go wrong with factory MOPAR..also with your 19 possibly being under warranty IMO would definitely be going MOPAR. DITTO on Sixty4x4.

The snorkel will give you confidence when you ford deep water. Of course, that also means you're the first to cross it even if you're at the back of the line of vehicles once you arrive at that crossing.

As for that particular snorkel, the ram scoop is permanently affixed. Therefore, it can't be rotated as Sixty suggests (though, as the owner of a 1979 10th Anniversary Trans Am with an open scoop, I will say that it is reversed because of pressure off the windshield, which is not a factor for the Jeep snorkels). More importantly, it can't be replaced with a particle separator, which is more useful for limiting dust taken into the air filter. It is the reason that I opted for the ARB, as much as I hated the unnecessarily difficult install procedure for it. It does sound way cooler than the Mopar that my friend installed on his Gladiator ...

Oh, here is that Trans Am, BTW ...
