It's been snowing heavily here now for three days.

All the wife can do is look through the window all day and bitch.

If it doesn't let up soon,

Looks like I'll be moving to Ketchikan this summer.

It'll be quite a change from the last few years in New Orleans.

I've been wanting to get up to AK a while and it looks like it's finally going to happen.

 

Well hopefully you'll like Ketchikan. Being in So.East it's a lot different than most of AK. It's pretty much considered a rain forest down there so hope you don't mind rain. It's like worlds apart than up here in So Central, or for that matter the interior.

 

Well I spent 2 years in Astoria, OR, and a couple of years in Seattle... So I'm kind of used to the rain. Ketchikan brings it to a whole new level though from what I've read. 12 feet per year? Seriously?

Kind of bummed because it looks like there isn't a lot of 4 wheeling available on the island.
