Default Lets do some wheelin!

I will be camping / wheeling this weekend (29-31 May) and would like to extend the invite to some of our Alaskan bretheren. I have not yet determined where I will be partaking in the festivities as of yet, but let's get some input. Who is down? Where is falconfixer?

Looking like I might be able to swing a day trip to Jim Creek but need a little more time as far as planning a camping/wheelin trip. We need to check tides tho so we're not stuck out there (at least for now cause I'm gonna talk you into a Warn Powerplant )

Hey AKDave, what kind of secret places you not telling us about down your way? Me and tonkmaster talked on the phone and would like to incorporate a weekend camping trip with a good wheelin place.

If this weather don't clear I am gonna be pissed. Sunday may be a good day for Jims creek. My girlfriend told me last night that she made plans for us to go to Seward on Saturday with her parents. How does Sunday sound Falcon?

Talked with Angie and she's in for going with us Sunday. I'm gonna try and find the tide schedule so we're not on the other side when it comes in and were eff-ed. Don't want to go at the buttcrack either so thinking maybe meeting up at 9. What's your thoughts Rob?

As a side note, met up with another local here and he is a maybe for going out with us to Jim Creek. He's building a deck and says he'll go if he makes good progess Saturday. He's running a 4dr Rubi and just put on a Teraflex BB. He took his rig out to Jonevilles (about 45 minutes north of Suttin) along some atv trails and was impressed so we should be fine for the Creek

Well, there are a few, but not that many that I have personally wheel'd on. They close the one I like the most until moose season. There is one that I've been thinking about tho....there's a mine up above the road to Seward. I was on it years ago with a guy in an old ford pu. As soon as we hit some bad muddy ruts he backed out. So I'd like to try that again........IF it's even still open. I'll have to check on that and get back to you. Hey...you guys have fun this week end...
