Default Aussie locker (now with photo/video

Before I put it up in the for sale section and have to ship it who knows where.....anyone local interested in a Aussie Locker for a Dana 30? I managed to break both axles, so instead of repair....replacing it with a D44

Also, if anyone needs any other parts off the Dana 30 (other than the axles) let me know.

What gear ratio do you have? I have a 3o with 3.21's and need bigger carriers for 4.10's if you have 4.10's I'd be interested in swaping out axle assemblies with you minus the axles.

So, the Aussie locker sells for like $230 new so I was thinking $150 or so.

The setup is 4.10, so make me an offer on the ring and pinon...

As for what happened, well its a long story but went with a few jeeps from Houston, and a few BUGGIES from Austin near llano, and after 3 of our Houston jeeps broke, the Austin guys were getting tired of waiting around took off up a serious climb with a double stairstep and lets just say the skinny pedal was not the answer....I knew I was hosed but there was no one near me to pull me up...good news is I made the stair step before they broke....

and at least it wasnt day 1 of a jeep jamboree where i had real money invested... and hell now I will be what 90% rubicon?

Don't put me on your list, but I've been thinking that when I upgrade gears, I should probably upgrade the 30 as well. This only reinforces this thinking.

Well, it was a tough decision to make, it was replace with oem axles...around 300 (same low quality) replace with crome molly axles 600-700 (move the problem) or upgrade to dana 44.... stronger....but still crappy u joints / axles. But at least its a selectable locker, new everything...and when those axles break...crome molly those and I am all set... or i hear a dana 60 for the jk is coming.. man my wallet hurts.
