Default Beach run

Some of us from the BMT area are doing a beach run on 7/12/08. two groups, one from sabine pass, and the other from high island near crystal beach. both groups are meeting at 9 am and are gonna meet somewhere in the middle. afterwards we will be going to crystal and hang out and eat somewhere. anyone interested?

bummer...kinda fun that place closed to Sabine Pass or the Jettis whatever with the concrete burns....I climbed all over them but didn't know it was illegal ....then we were on the little sandy road for a few miles when the Game Warden Beach Patrol whoever they were (they had guns...Federallies...I don't know) anyway they pulled 15 jeeps over....and were telling us it was illegal to be on their road....so we asked ok can we ride on the beach? And they said no you can't ride on the beach....well long story short he finally told us it was ok to ride on the beach and the road so long as we didn't cross over the barbed wire and chase the cows in our jeeps. Ok at this point we thought he was out of his mind. He did tell us that this many jeeps we were supposed to call ahead and get their permission. Sounded like a crock of crap to me
