Bumper Hacking
Well, I finally hacked my bumper today. I really got tired of the tires hitting the edge of the bumper when flexed and turning. I don't think I'm gonna even mess with capping the ends off, since I will eventually get an aftermarket bumper or fab one up myself. Now to replace those fenders and get rid of the last rubbing.

I'll get a pic in daylight tomorrow of the ends. It only took about an hour to pull off, trim and put back on. I just need to find a good way to clean the ends up. Oh, and I used a metal cutoff grinder. 3" wheel. Seemed to melt the plastic off very well. Watch for flying hot plastic though and don't grab any doodles hanging till they have cooled lol.
It seems that there are 5 small holes in the center that are usable to send a screw through and hit the inner wall and not go through the outer wall to hold the plastic in place.

Looks good. I loved doin' mine. If you get a wild hair you could cut off the end-caps from the scrap and plastic weld them on what remains....not all that hard-- just time consuming and stinky: I used a soldering gun & then covered everything in herculiner. Pics in my gallery.
