Relax.... We're coming... just not fast. Just give them some more time. As I said, if I am in town, then I am there.

I understand all that, but this is not something that's being done on the fly. This is a big event for the bar and they need to know if we're coming. Ben E. Keith, one of our beer distributors, has agreed to make banners, welcoming the JK forum members, to be placed outside the bar. My GM also needs to know, since we're having posters and flyers made and she wanted to announce on there that there would be some custom Jeeps displayed in the parking lot. But if nobody is going to show, I will tell them to cancel it.

All I'm asking is that people respond. If you don't want to show, fine. But I need to know, so all the above can be done and the bar can reserve an area of the parking lot for us.

May 15th - I'm in on this for sure! I have another Jeep buddy who might want to come. He lives out in Terrell and just bought his 1st Jeep 2 months ago, so this will be an eye opener for him.

April 30 - Can't make it but wish I could. My brother's coming in town and i totally forgot about it. He'll be shipping back Monday so we'll be spending all weekend with the rest of the fam etc.

Was great meeting you and the wife as well, Grabber. Glad to hear you're coming. And we'll get something off roadish planned soon.

Porky, that's the one. It's probably changed since the last time you were there. We've installed a horseshoe bar, a new dance floor and stage, and have remodeled the backyard. Matter of fact, the concert on the 15th will be outdoors.

BTW, if any of you want to enter the cook-off, PM me and let me know. I can fill out a registration form for you and get you on the list.

Ok so one says the 30th of April but it says May 15th at the top. Whatever day it is I'll be there. I'll convoy over as well. If there isn't an event the AAC would be a good place to meet up. I know the security manager and can arrange for a lot to be open to park and wait for everyone if needed. Well, I'll call and ask no promises.

I had posted in the DFW bs thread about a day trip to Brushy Creek or Gilmer this weekend. I'm still down for that, if anyone is interested.

So the trip to Brushy Creek didn't work out as expected...

That being said, if you are coming to the cook-off and concert Sunday, Jeep parking will be on the grassy knoll, between the parking lot and the service road. I'm guessing by the time most of you get there, there will be a few already there, so you'll be able to see where to park.
