The plan is to roll down the beach from bolivar to Sabine Pass and back if possible and just hang out, fish, picnic, and have a good time with the Houston Jeep People family.

**SOUTH SIDERS**

We will NOT be meeting at the Taco Cabana as previously planned. The ferry line will just be too long and it will take several ferries to get everyone across. At that rate, it will likely be after noon at best before we get to the other side. NEW PLAN......Same time, NEW location. Meet at the Subway parking lot on the Northeast corner of Dixie Farm Road @ I-45. This is just North or Clear Lake Dodge on the Northbound frontage road. We will meet there at 8:30AM and leave out no later than 9:00AM. The total trip should take less than 2 hours. We will go up I-45 to 610 to I-10 to Winnie. Anyone that cannot meet up with us there is welcome to take their own route. Feel free to call me with any questions @ [masked]. Jason (4x4 Nut)

**HOOTER's FM1960 & I-45 GROUP**

New plan for the Hooters Group is to go 1-10 East through Winnie, TX to totally avoid the ferry. Meetup at 8AM and leave no later than 8:15AM 2hr travel time to Crystal Beach puts everyone on the beach around 10AM.

So basically, if you are in the Southside of Houston, Follow the instructions on where to meet for the Southsiders.

If you live in the West, North, NW, NE side of Houston....youre probably best to head to the Hooters at FM1960 & I-45. That is the location I will be at as I am only 15 mins drive away from that intersection.

150+ confirmed to go....~20 something classified as "maybe"

 

Alot of people are still meeting at Taco Cabana and leaving around 8:30am and taking the ferry. There shouldnt be a long wait that early in the morning.

 

I'll be leaving from Lake Charles LA. Hopefully I will have gotten some sleep and not be too hungover... No promises.

 

Im pulling out of Crosby around 8:30ish.

Gonna head down I-10 East to Winnie, but maybe pull off and go the back way to High Island, past the Anahuac NWR.

LOL Skoalman, it was great to meet you! I tried to find you on the beach before we made the beach run to Sabine Pass but had no luck. It was an interesting trip, got buzzed by a plane AND a chopper! Next time I'm bringing my scattergun :-)
