Well my Girlfriends' jealous started from day one when i drove over to her house to show off my new Jeep. Immediately she was like, " Your not going to let any one drive it are you?!" Immediately followed by a very long awkward silence. Then a few weeks later she asked if she could drive my Jeep, with out hesitation i laughed hard and to my surprise she wasn't joking around. Then on another day she slammed the passenger door super hard that it shook the JK, i quickly went over and inspected the door. Then there was the time that i was late for a dinner date with her because i was getting the Jeep washed and then stopped off at the 4Wheel Parts store, so yeah my girl is jealous of my Jeep

 

This is just the begining.. she will be in the way of you and your jeep. especially during mod season.Tell her that raising a Jeep isnt easy and the best help she could give is $$$$. nothing else. The more she gives the bigger the Jeep gets.just kidding.. enjoy the new jeep. looks great

 

Well guys you know what this means?

In the past we have done a Rudy's BBQ night where we all got together, and met new people and looked/talked about our Jeeps and trips we've been on...

Also a good place to plan next trips that other locales are doing (like this trip the last weekend of July down to Padre Island)

Either way. Would be cool if we could have our BBQ night this Friday or Saturday night? Is that too short notice? Usually we'd meet at like 7pm or so...late enough to avoid rush hour traffic but early enough that its still dinner time. Usual meeting place has been the Rudy's BBQ on 290 just east of Beltway 8.

I'm sure Embarkchief would make an effort to be out there, and a couple of the other guys in the Houston area on the forums that we could call up and get them down there. If all yall could come...could be the biggest meet up yet! So far I think 5 is the most we've had?

Anyways, What works best for yall? FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, (or next weekend since this would be too short of notice)

 

DUDE! Ive been waiting for a post like this, but my job doesn't let me have Saturday off and the one saturday i have off is this Saturday and i have to go to a stupid B-Day party with my sister. I know its a long stretch but i could do any sundays.

 

yeah you should have heard the argument i had with my girlfriend when i told her i was going to throw a lift kit on my JK. Then again i think she just used it as an excuse to argue with me because the argument lasted 4 days. I already told my girlfriend not to buy me anything for my B-Day next month just to give me the money so i can buy my new wheels and tires, again another argument. Besides Ive already made the executive decision that my girlfriend is not to come along with me on any JK fun runs due to her blasphemous out bursts and overall nasty tone towards the JK.

 

She sure understands you...no offense man but...damn...she should go back to the kitchen and make us some sandwiches.

Way I see it. She's your GF. Not your wife. Your money is yours. Enjoy spending more time and money on the woman in your life that doesn't argue with you for 4 days.

I got lucky. My gf loves my jk. An I got lucky because she is to scared we will flip or something while off-road. So I get to take my buddies an have them support my abuse!
