Alrighty guys, plan is to depart from San Juan HEB @ 11:30, making a stop in Harlingen for more pick-ups around 12 and then heading to the island.

The original plan was have a big barbecue, but since the turn out is gonna be a lot bigger than we anticipated, we decided it would be much easier for everyone just to bring their own food.

AHHHH!!! I wanna go even more now!!!! Wife has our sons 6 month pictures scheduled saturday SOB!!!! Just in case when and where are the Weslaco guys gonna meet to roll out to San Juan? Just a suggestion might wanna make the rendezvous a couple hours earlier or at least an hour and a half. Traffic getting to the island around 1-5pm is insane backed up past the HEB on Port Isabel. I dont know about you but being stuck in that mess so close but so far away from the beach is torture especially with a top off and sun baking you to a crisp lol.

 

Sorry! I forgot to mention that we'll be accessing padre island through Boca Chica Beach so we're not too concerned with traffic! And the beach run is on Sunday so I don't think yall's pictures will be an issue

Weslaco guys will be able to head over to San Juan to rendezvous.

 

Never been to the boca chica side... Cant count myself in yet but this just increased my chances hell yeah!!!

If you have big enough tires you can cross the channel from Boca Chica beach just like Big Foot!

I think he means Boca Chica Blvd (hwy 48 ) from Brownsville or they are going to Boca Chica Beach??

 

Lol I'm confused as well, that's what I was sent. I'm almost certain we'll just be on Boca Chica Beach. But, no matter where we are it'll be a good time, I can assure you that.
