Default Fender laws

Anyone familiar with the fender laws in Texas? I'll be moving to Fort Hood/Kileen in March and was just wondering how much grief Im gonna get from the authorities.

Well what do you have for fenders? None? Flatties? On my 97 TJ about 7 yrs ago I got pulled over right by Johnson Space Center for an illegal turn and he mentioned my fenders being gone and cut me some slack. Ask LNUFNU here in Lonestar, he should know.

just asked my friend about this a few weeks ago (he's a city cop).

There are no laws against running fenderless in Texas

As far as I know there are no specific texas laws, the closest I can find relate to how far something being carried, can overhang out of sides or back of a vehicle.

What is the law cosidering that ? I have a basket I carry around sometimes .
