finally got the stones to cut my fenders

Yes I also cut the rear flares. They look just as good. The pictures are in the Show off forum.

Hey Todd and Rob - if you guys decide to do this...let me know and I'll meet you over at 5-08's. That yellow Jeeps fenders look pretty cool and different and I am armed with a Dremel tool...

make sure ya'll post some pics when the surgery is over. i want to do this also but my stones still haven't dropped yet. i still need more convincing

Default Not a flat fender

I know this is an old thread but when you google search for jk fender mod its the top non youtube hit.

It seems most guys go for the flat fender look when chopping the flares. I only found one picture where someone saved the side marker. So I wanted to share pics of what I did to mine. In the front wheel pic the tire size changes, the before pic has a 285\70\17 and the after pic is 285\75\17. I forgot to take a picture with the new tire before cutting. I have yet to flex it to it's limits to see if that's enough clearance. I can always cut off more.
