Default Glamis

Hi there,

I am new to the forum. Would like to introduce myself. I am from El Paso. I have a 4 door Rubicon 35" tires, and 2.5 inch skyjacker lift. Pretty excited to go to Glamis this November.
Any tips?

Have never been to Glamis though it is on my list.

We have a run in EP Sunday Oct 2. Feel free to join in.

Default Welcome Iris

Glad to see you made it to the forum. Like Glen said, there is a run this coming weekend. Meeting point is at Rudy's (west). Hope you can make it so you can meet El Paso wheelers. This group of people are awesome! Hope to see you there!

Sunday Oct 2, meeting at Rudy's on Artcraft at 1100, head out at 1200 to hit the trail. If you need to leave early, it's an easy enough trail that you would easily be able to do that. Am thinking total time on trail any where from 2-4 hrs, depending on how much poeple want to play.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Here is a pic of my Rubicon. I am getting a little tire rub since I got my new 35s and thanks to Danny who gave a lot of nice tips, I learned that the pinch seam is too close to my rear tires. So I will be getting 2 inch spacers tomorrow, can't wait. I also want to.trim my fenders and bumper. But most if all I REALLY want to get-out and play in the dirt!
Hope to see you all Sunday!

Awesome! Thank you, what do you think about adding 2 inch spacers. I all ready have 2.5 inch coil lift with 35s and some tire rub.

Depends on the rub, where and how severe. Some rubbing is harmless in some instances, not in all though. So, depends on the rub. BTW, close to the pinch seem is no big deal. Rubbing at the pinch seem can be a big deal. I would think it would be fine for you there with a 2.5" lift and only 35's. I didn't have to do anything until I went to 36's, and then I just limited up travel a bit and was fine. No problem at the pinch seem. It was when I went to the 37's that I had to get creative. There is some nice flexy stuff where we are going on Sunday so we can really check it out and see what you need to do.
