Default First Hidden Falls trip

Would have liked to join y'all for the first time this weekend at Hidden Falls but already made plans to be out of town.

I look forward to hearing how it goes so please post some pics and any advice when all is done.

My Dad (in his '83 CJ-7) and I are going to try and make it next weekend (Oct 6) for our first trip to Hidden Falls (have previous done Long Ranch that's in the same area).

Any and all would be welcome to join next weekend if you can't make it on this weekends run.

Any thoughts on 80% rain chances? Any idea what the trails are like wet?

We may get a hotel Saturday as well but still planning to wheel.

HF kicks ass in rain. Be ready to slide around a bit. The mud cakes on treads. It adds another dimension to the trails. Where you're on plane rock, like North Pole, it's just slicker rock. And no dust.

REALLY wish I was going now.
