Is Down South a Jeep or full size offroad park, or just for ATV's and dirt bikes?

Drunks on atv's, side by sides, bikes, and 4x4. That place does not frown on stupidity. Be careful there.

I will agree that it can get rowdy... But it is A W E S O M E if you like swimming holes, rope swings, high dives, beaches, live music, bikinis, sand bowls, palm fronds, mud pits, water crossings, and hidden trails... I am usually the only JK out there "gettin it"- most are towing ATV's or keeping the parking lot shiny. It is plenty fun for me, alot of steep inclines and interesting night runs.

Honestly, the JK'ers are kinda stuck up for this crowd. The ATV guys would love to get a JK stuck or centered following their bad advice- like anywhere really. I have people joke about what do I do if it gets dirty, alot of XJ and TJs think this is my toy and try to clown. Then I put my stock-ish JK up inclines or down lines they can't and their attitudes change- same as anywhere really. We laugh at Hummers, most 4x4's envy us.

Anyway- if you want to wheel I am down, and I started a thread in the STAGING AREA. It will be an awesome show, and if you refrain from night runs after everyone is sauced from the concert you will enjoy yourself. I have a winch, hi-lift, lighting and depthfinder... I would loke to find another JK'er willing to "get-out-there".

I second this. Although I've heard it is really a great time. Probably more fun if you are willing to get muddy, excessively muddy that is. Most people I know have some type of buggy they take out there and love it.

Each his own, I'd prefer Hidden Falls but am working Saturday and family coming in from out of town this weekend. Hope everyone has a fun and safe trip. I expect some good pics (with stories) when you get back.

Just came back from HF. Didn't see anyone from JKF :(
Saw a bunch of guys from another forum, but wheeled with my own boys, Freeloaders out of San Angelo. One of them has this killer CJ7 with a cummins TD. The JK represented very well.

was out there Sunday, around 2 PM saw a bunch of JKs but I went solo and did rated 4-5 trails..I'll have a quick video soon. Coilovers did great, very stable even at 45-50 degree off camber trails on the Bronco Buster. All in all no trail damage besides a few scratches and a few ran over trees that were in my way. There was no water in the creek or the falls! Where the heck was everyone ?!?
