Running up to General Sam's...
My sister arrives Thursday, we were gonna be running up to Sam's from Katy sometime after noon- to be there by the park opening (3pm on Fri). Probably just stay on the trail until we get tired (Ive got PLENTY of light) camp in the bush, then get ourselves back out and back towards Houston by 3pm or so. Whats up?

Sup deuces, I would love to run w/ you. we will make base at the hunstville state park. Still need an 8 person tent so thats my agenda today. Im leavin houston satrday afternoon. Maybe enough time to do two hour run. Then sunday, if nothing major breaks I will go hit up tougher trails be out ther longer.

DAyum, thats what I keep forgetting, what kinda cb radio u got? Well if u going there friday im gunna miss u. Ill be headed out saturday around 1ish, park opens at 3pm I think. But dude, heres my email casimiro643@aol.com in case. What time does the park close on weekends?

Park times...
Last few times I went, we left Houston around 2 and were WHEELING by 3:30 on Friday. They close the gate around midnite I think, but you can still wheel. And last time we were there (MuddyGras) we were in 4-lo by 8am on Saterday. So you could EASILY come wheel with me for a few hours on Sat, assuming we DO leave Sat. afternoon. General Sam's turns into a nice little base camp, FYI.

Just had to be the one to bust something!
I had a good time on my first solo run. I have ordered the sway bar quick disconnects to replace the one I broke off. Thanks to everyone on this run I had fun and learned a few things.
So we pressed on and found even more new friends to join the party, I will say this I was the first one to get stuck and the pucker factor was high!

And then we ran into some mechanic problems ..... looks like some one needs to upgrade some parts.
