Michael is the owner and his phone number is 903-638-3861 if you need it.

We will meet at 9am on the property. There will be no charge for coming out as long as you plan to work. Bring any tools you might need to trim, cut, dig, move or haul things. The will be a bobcat on site to use or the owner may be around to help. If you plan to camp over night, just know that it is primitive (ie. no showers, toilets, etc), but there is a very nice place to camp in and a bbq grill to use for cooking. If anyone camping wants to pitch in on food, etc. then we can all agree to bring something and hang out and wheel some on Sunday. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

In return for your work, you will be granted access to wheel for free from the work day through the end of October! Well work a days worth of work.

See everyone there...
Brendan
I'll be camping, and grilling! I'm also going to bring a saw, axe, hedge clippers some chains. I'll bring a weed eater if needed! I also bring trash bags, paint, and maybe a meter stick and a Bag of cement to give water depth?

I haven't checked over on the SLC forum yet, but last I heard it sounded like a handful were camping.

I do not plan to camp as it isn't that far from home (~60 miles) and after a long day outside I would rather get home to relax.

I'm thinking I will try to get out there by 8~8:30am Saturday and go from there. Last time we all met at Whataburger near Ranch House Road (?) exit on I-20 and caravan'd from there...was about 10am before we got there. I'd rather start while it's cooler.

I did go out there this past Friday with a buddy and the trails have grown up a bit. The water in the creeks is a bit deeper, and we've got a few trails thru the mud tested out for others to try now. Great picture of my rig after putting the doors back on at the end of the day.

Some supplies I think we should take:
Weed eater & Gas
Roundup
Bug Killer
Ant Killer
Trash bags
Shovels
Chain Saw & Gas
Pruners / Clippers / Shears
Chains / Straps / Rope ... To tow/move stuff with
Trailer / Truck bed - to load with stuff and pile up somewhere?
Something to measure water depth with / maybe even a permanent depth marker
Spray paint - Plenty of rocks there we can move and paint with different colors to mark trails

I have a chain saw (albeit not a very good one) and a couple of axes I can bring. Also, a gas powered weed eater and a dry sense of humor.

Don't forget the fresh meat you're buying this week.

I'm glad a website is up, BUT all these smaller sites are blocked by Big Brother here at work and I don't have access at home. Frustrating.
