Default New guy from Texas

Just wanted to say hello to my fellow Texans. I've been in the Houston area all my life and new to the Jeep world. Ordered my Unlimited Rubicon on 3/22/08, so I'm waiting and getting some great ideas from this site.

Sup man, I'm not too close to Baytown really but you're closer than most so far. Have a 2-dr Rubi myself and new here as well.

League City isn't that far from here, we hang out in the Khema/Clear Lake area pretty regular. Will be there with top down as soon as she gets here. Being built now and looks like May for arrival.

My first mod will be to de-badge it, I like the blacked out look. Then TF BB and 35's. I'd would prefer to do the BB myself, but don't have many tools and no garage. Doing it myself seems like the best way to learn, so I may have to buy some tools or ask for some help from some of my fellow JKers!

The lift and tires were already done when I got mine. Otherwise it would be the most money I ever spent on a single vehicle. Right now the Magnum RT has the honors. Frank Racing Street head, Comp XFI-260 cam, SRT-shorty headers, Magnaflow SRT catback exhaust, AirHammer CAI, Taylor shorty plug wires. Superchips tuner, B&G PCM, Escort radar detector, accelerometer, billet t-handle shifter, billet dip stick handle, billet catch can, and numerous cosmetic items.

welcome aboard. man, you're in goooooood company. the houston area has some great Jeepers. and from what i get and saw, they wheel the HELL outta their jeeps. If you can, go wheeling with Redneck Houston. he's got skills and is a great spotter. Just dont follow him. He can go pretty hard core. but is always prepared. like MacGyver
