No, it's in New Mexico, about 688 miles west. Sounds like a nice place to go, but 688 X 2 makes for a long weekend.

id like to head out thier because ive been thinking about doing that trail for a while but i wouldnt be able to go till after the 21st i did notice that glen said something about ol'skool on the 28th are they doing the same trail?

Not sure what they are running on the 28th but I know on the 21st they are doing the Dona Ana trail which is different from the Monticello Trail.

This is correct Ol'Skool is doing their run to Monticello on the 28th and a run to Dona Ana on the 21st. I'm still in for Monticello on the 21st though!

how many tanks of gas do you usually go through to get their and back?

To be honest I don't know since this will be my first time out there myself. I can say though TorC is right there so running on empty shouldn't happen...

It takes about maybe half a tank to get there, I like to refuel at TorC before heading into Monticello, though it most likely not needed but I just like to play it safe.

Its about 150 miles
