I thought I heard something about being 3 inches or more outside the flare.. but that just here say

I looked for over an hour on tx dps website. The best i could find is the same thing as lnufnu. I think if the officer would really have know the transportation code. I think i would use common sense

There is no such law in Texas to my knowledge. I have ran CJ's for years with 3-4 inches outside
