Just wanted to say hi to all of you. I am in Lufkin, TX. I drive an 08 Rubicon, Rescue Green. I will be at the JK run at Shiloh. I will also be at Spring Creek again soon. I went with a friend this past weekend and had a blast. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was pretty good. However, I was looking at another post about Spring Creek and did not see some of the spots in the pictures.

Anyway, this is my 4th jeep and I am glad to be wheelin again. I do not have a lot of experience but love it. By the way, what happened to the jeep wave? The first one I have gotten was at the park.

 

Welcome to JK-Forum jsquyres4. About the wave, it seems it gets returned less and less these days. I think the drivers that don't wave must have a super mega wedgie or something.

the wave is alive, but too many people are on their cell and don't pay attention.
top down, doors off, you will get a lot more waves
Hell, I even have a guy in a TJ who has yelled "that is not a real Jeep" at me, and he waves when my doors are off

Slight hi-jack... new to jeeping and the forum myself. Been out to spring creek a few times now and convinced a buddy to get a jeep as well so we can wheel together.

Just wanted to say hi and hope to see some of ya'll out and about.

07 Wrangler 2 dr steel blue. Top and doors came off and stayed off. Just put quick discos on this last weekend and a few other small mods like cb.
