I am currently stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso. Anyone know any good trails in west Texas or southern nm? And/or good public hunting areas?

West Texas Crawlers is a group I've seen a lot of down here in the national park. Good luck finding public hunting land in Texas. Make friends with a rancher is what I'm always told. If you're up for a drive, come down to Big Bend National Park. There are lots of dirt roads to drive and great scenery too! Thanks for your service!

Thanks for the replies guys. I've noticed the no public land thing, looks like I'm gonna go up to NM to do my hunting. How far out is Big Bend? Beezler, PM me I've done a bunch of riding around the past few months and got some spots. Just wondering if anyone had specific honey holes. Ha

It's 5-6 hours drive time from El Paso to Big Bend. But if you get a long weekend and want to do some camping and dirt road driving, come on down. I'm usually off Fri/Sat and available when I'm not driving 300 miles round trip to get groceries.
