YO Ranch
I was going to go on my way out to Colorado (Leaving on the 6th), but the price is a little steep for me and the family, think is was going to end up costing my about $550 to wheel for the weekend that is a lot of gas money to get to Colorado.
Holy Cow! How many kids do you have, I think its $200 for the driver $75 for wife, and $50 per kid....and that includes food all weekend. So thats 5 kids????? Now thats a full Jeep! Too bad Y.O. is really nice trails.

Wife $75
3 Kids $150
= $425
Plus an RV spot for 2 nights, came out to right under $550..
Like i said, that $550 will pay for my gas to Colorado/Moab, and halfway back. Oh, and those trails are FREE
(atleast in Colorado, Haven't been to Moab yet)

With all the rain we've been getting there should be plenty of mud to play in and then the usual rocks to play on.
I went out there last year and had a great time. They had about 12 different groups from bone stock to super modified hitting all kinds of trails, rocks, climbs etc. and most had loops where you could avoid anything you weren't willing to try. Bring a cooler and a camera and come get that new JK dirty.
Oh, trail rules: Everyone should bring a tow strap, a spare tire, a CB (a handheld will do) and have recovery points front and rear.
If you see me, be sure to say hi. I'll be the 6' 4" dude with the cheesy mustache in the white 2-door Rubicon.

Holy Guacamole!
You folks missed a great time.
The weather cooperated 98% of the time and we had FUN.
There were rocks, mud, exotic game on the side of the trail, great scenery and...did I mention the rocks?
I now know what a JK Rubicon can do and I must say it is impressive.
The mud on the rocks made it... interesting... but the little mule just kept on climbing. I almost went over backwards, twice, broke a sway bar link, cracked a soft top door surround on a tree limb and taco'ed my front license plate. But otherwise was unscathed. I probably shouldn't have gone with one of the "hard" groups my first time out with a new Jeep, but it did show me what it was capable of.
I had to get strapped up (pulled) once when I slid out of line sideways on a tough climb and I chickened out on a couple of the rougher sections and took the bypasses (which were hard enough, trust me) but I rolled right up a few spots that gave more highly modified TJs problems (though I had my own problems in several other places).
There were a couple of other JKs out there but they went with other groups so I didn't see how well they did.
I would love to post pics but my digital camera must have gotten smashed while packing. I grabbed a couple of disposable cameras for the second day and I'll post a few pics after I get them developed.
Start planning now for next year! ...And don't worry if you aren't as crazy as I am, there are different groups for every level of Jeep from bone stock to super modified and every level of driver from total noob to seasoned pro. The trail guides were great and everyone there was friendly and helpful.
