Thank you! What would you say is a more acceptable price? Never sold a vehicle so wasn’t sure really where to start at.

I compared others for sale and noticed they didn’t swap out the stock axles or at least mentioned it in the listing. Thought I may be able to list a bit higher.

No takers though so your probably right.

See what NADA price guides say, then you might get half of what you paid for mods, if someone wants something like that

I agree with LC Boyer, I've purchased 2 in the last few years and always use average book value plus half of the cost of the mods (at average selling price not MSRP), not to include labor. When I see a fair price, I make a fair offer and close the deal asap. I feel if you were priced around $34k you'd get some serious attention.

I don't disagree. Please do take note, nobody is saying you don't have a well built rig, BUT, most people wanting the kind of build you have there, are wanting to achieve that by building it themselves rather than buying it. That is a lot of the reason most mods won't return their value when sold on a vehicle. As sad as it is, you're often better reversing the build and selling the mods separately cuz you recoup more that way. Having grown up in Iowa, I also have a hard time imagining that it's very easy to sell a nicely built rig there.,....vs. say in Colorado. If all that wasn't enough, the other obstacle is that most people are not sitting on $40k cash, or even $25k cash to put them in a position to finance the purchase, and no lender is going to finance that kind of money on a '12 cuz they will strictly look at blue book and not give a crap about mods that have no value to them as collateral.

Unfortunately, it's not a sum-of-all-parts game. Looks like a well build jeep though.

Even though axles were swapped, you swapped the wrong ones. Not a good choice being semi float and factory width. Should have just stayed on the factory axles. People may be scared of the 2012 due to the engine issues the 12's had. Decent looking rig, I like that color and that may be what actually sells it. I would advertise it in locations that have lots of rich stupid people like LA and Chicago.
