Default [Tulsa] Ryno 4WD: A review

Since I primarily do all my own work, I rarely get a chance to review anything. Due to time constraints, I've recently taken my JK to Ryno 4WD in Tulsa. While I've heard one slight critique on here about them, I thought it would be fair to post a full review of my experience there for others.

In evaluating a place to work on my JK, I wanted someone who actually has worked on a few. Amazingly there are still some places that really haven't. Ryno has some a JK HEMI swap, so I figured that's good enough for me!

So I took my JK in for a bent tie rod and alignment. Overall, I found the owner Ryan very knowledgeable and friendly. He is a very busy guy but took the time when I came in to go through the technical details of what we were working on because that's the kind of owner I am and that's what I demand.

It took 2 trips for me to get my alignment fixed, but Ryan and crew went out of their way to make sure I was completely happy with the way it drove before taking it home, offering to spend as much time as needed to get it right.

Overall, I was happy with the service, the staff, and the workmanship. The shop labor prices were fair and inline with the industry. I spent roughly $500 in total for alignment, rotate/balance, tie rod, HD ton tie rod ends, and labor.

You Tulsa guys be sure to check them out....recommended

I just got my Jeep back from them today, they re-geared it for me.

I am very impressed with how friendly and knowledgable they are, and so far the Jeep is doing very well.

I purchased gears from Northridge 4x4, and for a several reasons I was unable to perform the re-gear myself. So, I went searching for a local shop that didn't mind picking up where I left off. Ryno quoted me a $1,000 dollars for the work (labor only). I dropped the Jeep off on a Wednesday mid-day, and it was done and ready for me to pick up before they closed on Friday.

Their rates seem very reasonable, and the final total actually came out a few bucks shy of the quoted $1,000 dollars.

While I was there I asked about C-Guessts, and Randy told me that they have a welder and do all types of fab. work. I may have to pay another visit to Ryno in the future
