Default Anyone Affected by the Oklahoma Storms?

Just wondering if anyone was affected by last night's storms. I was supposed to go to a young man's Eagle Scout Court of Honor (where he's formally presented the award), but the church we meet at is one-quarter mile north of the Love's that everyone saw in the news (Choctaw Rd and I-40). So, the church parking lot turned into a parking lot for everyone trying to get into the devastated area and there was no power anyway, so COH canceled. Other than that, looking at the videos the tornado went through areas where several members of the troop live, so I'm awaiting word on their status. Beyond that, everything passed south of me, but I did put a thick blanket on the recently installed Jeep hood to protect it from hail (for those who may not remember, I suffered serious hail damage a couple years ago during another storm).

Man what a mess down there, looks like a few didn't make it thru the storms.

This is a dangerous time of year to be in the southern plains, i hope everyone is taking precautions when things get hairy.

I was wondering the same thing. It definitely was devastating. I just hope everyone was OK. This is definitely the time of year when things can get ugly in a hurry.

It just kinda split us here in Jenks/Tulsa, some to the north and some to the South.

Anyone affected elsewhere?

I was wondered about you last night Mark. A friends parents new house in Choctaw was hit, and a co-workers neighbor 3 houses down got hit.

Had a tornado go through parts of Tulsa early this am. No damage at our house in Jenks or my office in south Tulsa.

But Union Public Schools and Tulsa Public Schools out due to power outages. Estimated 32,000 without power in Tulsa area.

Its split around Durant where I live. Mead and Coalman got torn up pretty good. Had ~1inch hail. Luckily for me, I have a 2 car garage just for my jk.
