I lived there for 15 years before moving to KC. Great area to wheel. Get with Todd at Z-Fab Off-Road. Great guy to wheel with and a hell of a fab guy too. http://www.zfaboffroad.com/
A great to place to start is the Forest service. The last couple years they have been closing trails and trying to develop a trail system. They have pretty decent maps of all the trails and they are free.
Todd at Z-fab is who i take my JK to for all the big installs and he is super cool and very knowledgable. We also have a group out here called Black Hills Jeeps and they do a lot of runs in the summer, they have a great web site and forum that contains a good amount of info on trails.

Let me know when you are coming, I would love to have someone to go show trails to and wheel with. If things go right this year I will be one of the trail guides at the Deadwood Jeep Jamboree, maybe I'll see you there
Yeah diffidently keep ya informed of what's going on. I'll add ya to my friends list. My 1st trip out there probably not to many crazy trails kinda want to learn and try things out. I only have 4500 miles of 1st time owning a jeep, so simple would be good my 1st go around.
