Default Christmas in KC - a little late

Hey KC guys - I've been offline for a while and didn't get around to posting, but I had a bit of snow fun up there in KC on Christmas day. Pulled into the Hotel and there were two cars stuck at the bottom of the hill. I offered to strap the guy in the Lincoln up, but he didn't really have anywhere to hook to. I drove around them and up to check in. The lady at the front desk was shocked I was able to make it up the hill. She looked out the door and said "Oh... it's a Jeep."

About that time, the pizza guy pulled up in a TJ. I asked him how business was and he said he was getting great tips because he was the only one out of his store who was able to deliver.

Then, I was pretty sure I saw one of you when I was driving through KC the morning after Christmas. Looked like a green 4-door on 35's going the other direction when I was coming down Metcalf. All of the "Day after Christmas door buster specials" were still in stock when I got to Microcenter so I ended up bringing a bunch of crap home.

Long story short, I had quite a bit of fun driving around in the snow after Christmas. Anyone else?

Good to see you back online and having fun in the snow. We got dumped on too here in okla. Mark D and I pulled a few out of the snow. I know what you mean by having no place to hook on. It's unbelievable how cheap cars are made these days. My Jeep got around great. Metcalf was my old stomping grounds.

It was a good time. My son was out in it all day with our 07. I, too, offered to pull a Honda mini-van out of a grader ditch, but alas no tow hooks on the Honda. Unbelieveable. A bunch of volunteers got around the front of it and pushed it out. Completely crushed the driverside quarter panel pushing on it. Felt bad for her, but she should have had 4WD in those conditions.

We're thinking about taking a weekend trip down to Springfield/Branson. Was wondering if there's any trails around Chadwick that a Jeep can hit? We've been all over the public land that lies directly east of the town of Chadwick. I'm wondering if there's anything around the motorcycle riding area?

Take it easy,
David
