Don't usually read the mid-west forums, but I moved to Colorado from Iowa in the mid-90's. I came to Boulder for a job interview, got the job, and had to suffer back in Iowa for 6 weeks until we moved.

I must've played John Denver's Rocky Mountain High through my head a million times. Hadn't heard it for years and then got it stuck in my head one day. I finally embraced it as my mantra to make it through the six weeks.
