But there are lost of shallow dents in the hoods and the roof of Curtis' truck. My softtop looked okay. I had just awoken from a nap and noted how dark the skies were. Was in the bathroom and heard thunder. Asked Curtis to retrieve my drying tent from outside. I went to check the weather, but before I turned on the TV all hell broke lose. It was like someone was on the roof just pouring wheelbarrows full of hail over the edge. It lasted no more than a few minutes, but dumped a ton of hail--most about nickle size, a few egg size. Didn't see any of the big stuff they had on the other side of town (and like I had the first time my hood was clobbered). But, this was much thicker--everything was sheathed in white and the rain gutter by the house was overflowing with water and hail. And then it was over just as quick as could be.
Mark, CYA. I have been on my roof and have damage. I am waiting on my adjuster to call me to make an appointment. I was driving home and the worst of it hit after I got home. I only have 1 good size ding in my hood, luckily.
