Labor Day Plans...
remember to tune to cb channel 28 for any of us who might lag behind, so we can find you back there....
i'm still hoping to make it but hard to say...i'll be in tulsa though for sure at least. I might have to come late and leave early, but I'll holler on the horn if I get up there.

Dont forgrt your cameras and have them charged.
Man... it looks like you guys are really having fun out there. I really want to go, but I haven't got my new tires on yet. Are you going to make it tomorrow Jack? Any idea how late everyone is going to be staying? I don't want to drive all that way if everyone is going to leave early...
this was my first time wheeling - not just first trip to disney, or first time in a jeep, but first time wheeling period. it's safe to say that my day was limited by my own fears and not the jeep's abilities. there were several times when i told rescue x "i can't make that" only for him to tell me to get back in the jeep and drive. the jeep never failed me. most of my climbs were not graceful, but i was truly amazed at what jeeps are capable of.
my sincere appreciation to rescue x and torn for their patience, spotting and coaching. i had a blast. if these two are any indication of the caliber of people in the midwest (which i suspect they are), you've got a great group here.
now, where are we off to next?

As to the "where next" question, see the post below about fall 4xFest. My local club puts this on and it should be a blast. A lot of good folks and trails for the beginner all the way up to the big rock crawlers.
yeh, i'm all about that run. i'm watching that thread.
i'm going to look into this one. that's sometimes a difficult time with work, but i'm going to try. i just checked the map and smorr is closer than i thought.
