A spring compressor could help, but definately not needed. Ive done a few different JK lifts and never needed one. I on call for work this weekend so I cant commit 100% but I may be able to stop by.

I will help as well.

When I added the extended bumpstops to my Jeep I borrowed spring compressors from Autozone's Loan-a-tool program. Only problem was they were the ones that go inside the spring to compress it. Not real useful. I ended up manhandling them in, again. No big deal.

How did it go? wished I could have made it but I was on my third shift in 2 days and thought it would be a good idea to just go home and eat chili with a budlight.

Another Jeep grew up today.

It went pretty well, the upper rear trackbar bracket gave us some problems, but after getting some Jeep power we were able to get it all together. He is all ready to conquer the Moderate trails that StangJeeper and Wiredawg are going lead him thru next weekend.

Let me give you a heads up about when Wiredawg took me out for my first run after we did my lift.......

front bumper has a hole in it about the size of my fist
rear bumper is ....how can I say it.....reshaped and held on by one side only
front swaybar trashed...lol not his fault at all they were too short and fliped it but took me a few minutes to figure that out thanks to a fellow jeeper with a sore finger right now!!

Good luck with it and I will meet you on Sunday.

Default Some Pictures

Got some pictures from the lift install.

Here is the Jeeps.

Here is moving the body to line up the bolt for the rear track bar.

And finally, it's all lined up.

I am glad it all worked out. This was the 1st time I had to pass on a JK lift install in the area

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Ranch this weekend.

And just think we didn't even take the Creek Trail And Janice drove part of it

Maybe the Stangjeeper/Wiredawg line may be a bit much for your 1st time out. But the Jeepr/not sure who it is one should be challenging with a minimum chance of body damage
