I was starting to wonder if anyone else was around.
Vishal, I don't have any noises in mine but I have heard about that steering noise. Could anything have fallen into the dash vent?

So Angie, axles and drives shafts now or just drive shafts? Glad you've figured out where the noise is coming from.

 

have you looked into joining a 4wd or Jeep club? You should check out http://pioneer4wheelers.org

it a local club with alot of great members......its free to join the site and mimimal cost to join the club. Great way to get out and have fun and have access to a wealth of off-roading information!

 

Im still asking Santa for axles. But gotta fix the drive shaft, right?

Maybe this had something to do with it?

 

I think it might have happened right around here. My passenger side tire kept sliding off that rock. I think it landed on the driveshaft a couple,...few times.

 

What part of the axle did you break? Just a u-joint or the shaft itself?

 

I dont know. They said I needed a new one, and I said "OK"
