Nebraska Here
I live in SE SD on the NE border. There are no otheer JK's here. I am looking for some and some place to go off roading with. Got any places close to Omaha? I am two hours out. Just picked up my 08 Rubi Unlimited.
Thanks Angie! Finally got it and we enjoy it very much! Already looking to get the lift and new tires put on! Thanks for letting me look closely at yours at the gas station by Skate Daze a couple of weeks ago, it helped me decide just how much I wanted to do to it. (didn't mean to freak you out when I just walked up to you and asked to look at it, if I did

Hi guys. I lived in Omaha for most of my life. I live in Colorado Springs now, but still have family in Bellevue. So I still frequent Omaha a lot. In fact I have already been there a few times with my new Jeep, and looked everywhere locally to find a good place. I did try out justjeepsforomaha.com (I think that was the link). Well, I got back with a really muddy jeep.
Hope to see some of you next time I am out that way, maybe I could join one of your Jeep runs. Or if you come out this way, you could hook up on one of ours in CO (not really that far).

Just keep your eye on the JJoO site, we usually have runs at least once a month. Maybe one of your trips back will land on one. My dad is in Denver. Im really hoping to make it there a couple times this summer.
You should all also keep an eye on http://pioneer4wheelers.org . This group is based out of Lincoln but with many people coming in from Omaha and other surrounding towns. In fact the next Tuttle run is schedule for March 15th! I don't think you have to be a member to go. So feel free to go along! I'm not sure if I'll be there but I know several will be from this group and also from just jeeps of omaha.
A couple weeks ago we had a get together with 50 people wheelin through some privately owned land with permission from the owner. I've heard that the person who owns that land may even open it up to more events in the future.
