Hey everyone. Ive had my jeep for about a year and have been looking through this site for a few months now getting all kinds of DIY ideas. Ill be updating all the mods and get some pics up soon. Any places close to the okc/norman/moore area for a beginner to play in some mud?

Check with some of the local clubs, but really the only place to go is down to the river. Otherwise you gotta drive. OKC is basically a deadzone for wheeling.

 

Yeah, there's really no place to go out here. We normally travel down to Superlift or little sahara.

Same here guys.. new to the site. Just bought my first Wrangler a week ago. Pretty excited to mod it up. I think it would be cool to meet up and maybe get my jeep some play time..

 

I work for the property owners in bricktown. So I'm all over the place. Mainly around the basspro sonic area.

 

I can see we need another Falcone's. Who would be up to having lunch at the Midwest City Falcone's one Sunday afternoon? It's right off I-40 in the "new" shopping area (Best Buy, Kohl's, etc). There's plenty of parking, and the food is New York pizzeria. Let's set a tentative date, then I'll start another thread and we'll see what interest we can gin up. Last time we did this, some of the folks went and played in the river off I-44 south of OKC beforehand. Here's a pic of that last get-together ...



Next Sunday (Palm Sunday) might be okay, but I'd say we need to stay away from Easter Sunday. April 11th I'm on a Boy Scout campout. April 18th might work. The reason I'm suggesting Sunday is because Interceptor_1972 can usually make it up from Lawton if we do it on Sundays. We could also do it one evening after work. He probably wouldn't make it, but that's okay. TORN would probably come out also (from Stillwater). So, your thoughts ...
