I had it on my toyota for about 3 or so years and now the jeep and have never had an issue. When I still had my toyota I took a 10 week class with the Bixby PD, one night some a$$hole parked so close to me that I couldnt get in my truck. A coulpe of the officers came over to look to make sure there was no damage and didnt say a word about it, they did say I had some sweet looking tires though! STTs

when i had my mustang, i had the platic covers, never had an issue with the cops, with my civic i had the vinyl tint on it for a bit, didnt have issue...but ive had 2 friends with the spray do them very dark and get "fix-it-tickets" where they have 1 month to get rid of it and then they wont have to pay the ticket. But usually they wont even care about it...as long as some light comes through..its good.

I have seen it on a lot of vehicles around town. It couldn't be any worse that a black ford pickup with those tinted tail light covers I saw a few days ago.
