OK bs
Okay, it's safe to go out because this maniac has gotten back to his house. I decided to go downtown to get some pictures of the Federal Building Memorial. Well, I don't drive often downtown, and there was almost no traffic. But that didn't stop me from managing to turn on streets and wonder why the traffic lights were all facing the other way--twice I went the wrong way on a one-way street!
you have to watch out for those evil squirrels that turn all the stop lights around backwards throughout the night
i am in awe that your nav. wasn't yelling at you to "do a u-turn".

Well, I don't drive often downtown, and there was almost no traffic. But that didn't stop me from managing to turn on streets and wonder why the traffic lights were all facing the other way--twice I went the wrong way on a one-way street! Then, a mile from my home, I'm heading through an intersection and have to push through a drift that is probably about 18" high. It jerks the steering wheel and I look down to straighten things out and avoid a car in the next lane and when I look up, as I cross the limit line, the light is RED!!! Yes, and there's a car entering the intersection from the other direction!!! I'm such an idiot!!! Anyway, I deftly avoid him (okay, I ran the red light, but it was still a deft move) and keep pressing on home, hoping that this guy who probably lives within a mile of my home doesn't ever recognize my Jeep again.
Dang, what a morning. I guess I should have realized that it would be best to stay home today when I made breakfast. Normally it's just a bowl of cereal, oatmeal or a half grapefruit and some juice or milk. But today I decided to thaw out some Blue & Gold Sausage (if you've never had it, you're missing out). I take a left-over half of a baked potato and dice it up and put some eggs in and make breakfast burritos. I'm getting out the sour cream and green salsa (thanks, Chris!!) to put on it and realize I want some juice to drink. So I move the milk aside and reach behind it to pull out the juice jug. And while pulling that out, holding the fridge door open and the sour cream and the salsa, I accidentally bump a bottle of Coors. And it tips over! So I'm squirming to the fridge trying to catch it, realize I can't, so just shuffle my feet forward to break the bottle's fall and keep it from breaking. Which I successfully do!! But, the bottle has become so jostled that it starts foaming, and liquid starts pouring out of the top all over my socks and the floor. Did I mention that this is at 5 a.m. this morning? Anyway, bad start to my day. Bad continuation. Bad driving (I sincerely apologize to anyone who saw my stupid driving skills today, as well as to all fellow Jeepers to whom I've given a bad name). I got home, made up a cup of coffee, perhaps with a little something extra to warm it up (love the Kahlua). I'm going to light a fire, and maybe just watch some TV. No more going out today.
BTW: If I got any good pic's, I'll throw them up on the Photos of Anything thread, as well as on my FB account.
Final thought: When I see someone do something stupid while driving, I don't honk (unless safety dictates) or make them think that they are an idiot by shaking my fist at them or such. I just remind myself that certainly at some time in the past I've done something just as stupid.

usually i am on the web looking and dreaming of what i would like to order for my next mod/parts for the JK, it seems strange that i am now looking for a stroller, car seat, and a baby bed etc. for my wife's new mod/parts list

although this morning while driving her to work this morning that she says to me " if we had a taller lift maybe it would be a lot easier to get through the deep drifts of snow, without missing a beat i say " a six inch lift, PR44 or PR60's and a set of 40's would do the job and david at northridge is having a big sale" . She just looked at me and said "well i hope you win the lottery" LOL

but my daughter has given me more happiness than a vehicle could ever give. As a father yourself you know exactly what i am talking about
hopefully I can find a JEEP brand stroller and get lucky on the resell value (if it is anything close to the jeep resell values LOL but I'm not holding my breath )

.NOW we're talking. Don't forget, some coil overs so that the baby won't wake up going up and down bumpy roads and a bikini top for when the sun's too harsh

hmmmm ...i have never used or owned one but have heard several in friends vehicles yell that out
