OK bs
all of my friends buy craftsmen simply because the warranty. the other week while working on my friends subaru wrx, 2 wrenches bent, and a socket wrench broke. Took the 3 tools to sears at quail springs mall in OKC and the replaced them all. I cant tell you how many tools have bent, or broke while we were working on cars suspensions. (we dont always have access to an impact gun) haha

A free tool didn't seem all that bad to me

Most of my father's tools he gave me are Craftsmen, MAC, and Snap-On. In this case it just so happened the one and only torque wrench he gave me was a Craftsmen.
I'm still in the process of building up my tool collection; just not sure on what brand to go with. I'd like to keep them all to one brand if at all possible just for the sake of consistency. Most of the tools I have now are Stanley.
