OK bs
Personally, to me, it was ok. We got lost twice out there in the 3 hours we were there. Plus, we were the only jeep there; it may have been fun with a group. But sand is not my thing.
Any of you guys ever done the Kiamachi trail from Clayton, Ok - Mena, Ar? I drove a small section from Clayton east to Indian Highway last week and thought that was pretty good.

. Again, emphasizes the importance of going in "packs" Was in a TJ at the time and drug bottom on much of the Engineer trail. Watching the two JKs handle this much better is why I bought the JK Rubicon the first day after we returned to Oklahoma.

Looking forward to Black Bear Pass next time.
I think toyfreak was there not too long back; not sure if he did the whole trail or not. Mark Doiron and myself alongwith the family had driven the Skyline Talimena Drive from Talihina to Mena (although we didn't quite go all the way to Mena, AR). Read up some on a Toyota Forum about some people that had gone on that trail and encountered some uhhh... rough moments with some locals

. I'd be up for this trail next year if we can get a group going. Make it a couple day affair and camp along the way somewhere.

. Did get to do Picayne Gulch from Silverton to Animas Forks though, which was very nice indeed.PS: Blackbear Pass is definitely something to do atleast once; I'd love to do it again someday, preferably in a larger group.
