OK bs
I know Hibdons and Goodyear/Firestone tire places would be open and I know they can usually do alignments. Not sure how comfortable they will be with alignments on a lifted JK though. Check with Duane - I know one of his buddies have a 4x4 Shop that does a lot of fab and build work - they may be able to do a proper alignment for you and he could let you know if they're open Saturdays or not.
Jeep fixed. How many of you have ever seen your Sentry light on the dash? Have you ever noticed that single, red LED that's just to the upper right of the fuel gauge? There's no label--why bother to label it when there's only one?
Anyway, when Jeff and I went to start my Jeep this morning, I noticed that light was on. And I recognized it from when I had a bad key: It tells you that the key you have is bad when it flashes. But mine was staying on solid. I looked that up in the owners' manual and saw that means I have an electronics problem. Come on, Jeep, couldn't you be a little more specific? Anyway, we disco'd the battery for ten minutes, reconnected and the Jeep started immediately, and that light was off, like it should be. And I've started it several times since.
Because Jeff was down here we went ahead and tended to a few other chores on our Jeeps--rotating tires, lubing, etc. And then Curtis called and wanted to talk for a couple hours. So that's why I was delayed updating everyone.
But, bottom line is I don't know what caused my Jeep to get into a funk. I now have a fix, but it would sure be nice to know that it's permanent.

I am going to give tire barn on 71'st a try saturday morning after I install my new currie draglink friday night....the hibdon over on 145th across from the chevy dealership next to waffle house pissed me off and screwed me around ( after being a customer of theirs for a year) so I DON'T recommend them AT ALL. they use to have a good alignment tech but they said he isn't there anymore but that was right before TWO guys that worked there took my rig for a 20 minute joyride and the poor manager had to take the a$$ chewing. Fellers auto specialists at 81st and 161st is next on my list after I try tire barn. hard to find a good shop with good service anymore....if my garage was big enough I would just buy a alignment machine
