Ok, so i have been dealing with a low speed violent wobble ( 5 mph-20/25 mph )
I used the DW fix it plan and torque specs from the thread that Planman posted. I thought i had it fixed until last night, I was driving through an intersection, just took off from a red light so i was going about 10-15 mph and hit a storm drain grate with the right side (along with a small dip in the road) and it did it again UGHHHHH...there was a lot of traffic behind me so i couldn't get it stopped ASAP and the tires were chirping and barking so loud i heard it over the radio. It was very violent I finally got the rig pulled over and stopped. I got out and looked to make sure everything was still attached, got back in and took off and it didn't do it the rest of the night. IS there ANYONE else that has had this problem and /or has a known fix I was thinking back and the first known episode happened after the install of the JKS quick disco's. I have 35's , 4" RC lift , A woods SS relocation bracket. Thanks

Did you recently do a 4 (or 5) tire rotation? When was the last time you had your tires balanced? I had the same issue (and still do) which I was attributing to not running a SS, but apparently if you have an SS and it's still doing it, that's not the culprit. After doing a tire balance and rotation, my wobble issues seem to have gotten a lot lesser. We have essentially the same set up - Unlimited, 35s, 4" RC Lift, Same bumper and winch, and the only difference being I'm using Teraflex Discos - my issues started after installing rear UCAs and the JKS Trackbar braces front and rear. So, not sure what the cause might be. But I'd start by getting the tires balanced.

I am still trying to figure out how a tire would be considered because it only happens when i hit a bump a certain way it seems and it is the entire front end that shakes. It feels as if it is part of the steering/steering components ...it is driving me nuts that i can not figure it out

I know, I've checked just about everything there is to check as far as the torque settings, making sure nothing's loose n stuff. All I know is when I had the tires rebalanced and rotated, it got better - it still does it every now and then, but not near as bad as it used to . If you find something out, let me know - I'd sure love to know what the culprit is.

That sucks that you are still fighting with this issue.

If you suspect its your discos, do you have anything to swap them out with?

Just trying to think how you might try and isolate what the problem is.
