Once you cross that Red River your home free. Then once I see Carter County I know I'm home. God I can't wait to see those signs again.

Trip was good... But I'm glad to see the rolling hills of green country. The flat plans, and high winds of Texas sucked big time.... And the high desert of New Mexico was pretty to visit, but gosh id never want to live there... Them people have rocks for their yard.... ROCKS!

I can't imagine my kids running around bare foot on a bunch of fricken rocks they call a yard. Tis' a shame, really.

But it was very pretty to see the mountains, and I got to eat some really good food. In all we drove nearly 1,600 miles... And when I say "we", I mean "me", because my wife can't drive the Jeep
