Update on the lift...springs seemed to have settled just a bit...cause i didnt have to struggle to get into the Jeep today, but that could just be due to me wearing bball shorts all day. Rides great, no issues. 8 inch wheel gap all around which is good. Only thing I am somewhat cocerned about now is my rear driveshaft, the angle its at now. But the ride is great. Seemed to almost get over 3 inches of lift out of it. On top of all that my Poison Spyder Customs front bumper got built and shipped out today. Time to trim my frame after i get the bumper powdercoated.

Pfft. I see that as one hell of an accomplishment. It's a lot of work. One of my friend's in Glendale is rebuilding his. I will find his blog address for you. His girlfriend HATES the Jeep which is funny since she has one. I am not supposed to be talking to him about Jeep stuff yeah that doesn't sit well with me so we chat when she isn't there, LOL!!

Yeah the rebuilding process is torture because its parts galore I can never find the right tool. Its a lot of waiting and pondering and nail bitting and hard work etc...

But most of all it is fun. Its was a project for me and my dad but he passed away. So I'm doing it for both of us. More for him than anything. He loved that Jeep. I should post a picture of him and his CJ back in the day.

My friend's rebuild is a '66 CJ5. He loves it.

I love when guys have projects. It's part of why I love the Jeep world. It's something that keeps your minds and hands busy and I like to see the brain gears going and the camaraderie between everyone.

No doubt. Keeps your head going, gets your mind off of stuff, makes ya pay attention for damn sure. "Live each day as if it is your last, surely one day you will be right." Words to live by.
