I have seen more and more jeeps around the okc are, how come no one wants to play anymore? It seems like this forum has died. Let's renew it and try to hook up somewhere and unify all okc jeepers. I would love to start up a local jeepin group let me know if you are interested!! I live in se okc where do you live?

 

Plenty of people want to play - problem is there are no good places to wheel in the OKC area, so the only time we get together is when we plan big runs.

My problem now is we're into football season, and nothing trumps my cowboys - not even wheelin.

I'm going to try and go to Disney and do some playing later this month or next month if you wanna join.

 

x2 what Jack said. The biggest problem in Oklahoma is finding a good wheeling spot within a reasonable travel distance. I'm not exactly in OKC, but close enough; if you decide to go wheeling on a Sunday, let me know and I'll be happy to join

I'm in piedmont along with 6 other jeeps that I just went to Red River NM with.
We need to get a club started.

And I'm in for a Disney trip.

 

There are very few hard trails in Disney, but there are a few and are easy to avoid. Disney is pretty small so it's a one and done type of place, but if you've never been its worth going at least once.

I'll try to pinpoint when I'm going up and let you guys know so we can try and have a group.

Right now, looking at my calendar I'm going to say October 3rd might be a good weekend to be up there. I need to check on a few things first - but if that weekend is good for anyone, let me know.

I might be able to make this since I might be in Tulsa for the state fair.

 

Quite a while back us OKCer's got together for pizza, to swap stories and ogle each other's rigs. What say we plan something real soon now? Just yesterday I drove up to Stillwater to visit TORN for the day and we did a little puttering on our Jeeps and shared lunch. Anyway, we don't have to wait for Oct 5--let's get together sooner!
