Default OKC Roads?????

Folks,
I have a question for anyone around the OKC to Elk city on the I 40.

I am out in So Cal, and wife is in a car with my son coming from St Louis on the I40. I see the storms in Amarillo, so I know they cannot get into there tonight. I am trying to find out how bad it is on this stretch of road. They are already through Tulsa and will be in OKC. Looks like the storm is going to be worse in the morning so she wants to make it to ELK City. Is it going to be that bad in the morning, I would rather her stay in OKC for two days hotel then be on the road.

So anyone in the area can chime in I would greatly appreciate it.

I can tell you she would be smart to stay in OKC. My family is in elk city and they got some decent snow and power is out in some areas and flickering in others.
