Default Trails: Eastern ND or Western MN???

Looking at getting out for an afternoon over the Labor Day Holiday weekend to have a little fun but I have no idea where there are any trails in or around the vicinity. I'm located in Fargo, ND. Preferably someplace that isn't a huge haul to get there. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thx.

Western MN has an offroad park in Appleton, MN it is probaly the second best park in the state next to Gilbert which is by far the best.

i've done some research on the appleton park. looks like a good time and reasonably close. perhaps some area Jeeps would be interested in setting something up for a saturday before the snow flies...
