Default Washita got hammered! Need help!!!

I was just informed that Washita Offroad Park in Farmington got hit really bad by the storms that came raging through Missouri on Friday. Many of the trails are closed with some major limbs and trees down. Don(the owner) has asked for some help to get things cleaned up. There will be group going down on Sunday the 17th from MWJT with chainsaws and lopers to help clean up. I know that in the past the owner has offered up one day passes to those that help him out but am unsure at this time if the same holds true. As soon as I find out for sure I will post and let you folks know. All help is appreciated regardless of vehicle abilities.

Bump. If I was any where near there I would be more than happy to help out. But as I am not all I can say is good luck and hope you get some volunteers. Got to do all we can to help places like this stay open as soon these may be the only places we can wheel.

I plan on being there as long as I can get out of helping my parents move. I have a chain saw and loppers.

All help is appreciated. The only places we have to go wheeling around St Louis is all private land based parks. I know that there is a build/cleanup on May 17th and then I am trying to get something worked out for every other Sunday after that. There WILL be passes handed out for labor.

I should be able to help out on the 24th. I have never been to Washita, so it would be good to help out and see the park.

That's a bummer about Washita. I love that place

I hope the tree that took my FJ's taillight got taken out

I'm going to see if I can make it down and help out on Sunday.

For those that are going to make it down and help, THANKS! in advance. I won't be able to make it because of work. There is a group coming down from the Big Lou and are meeting in the parking lot around 9, I think?
