Sorry you weren't able to join us today. It was fun but limited on what we could do since the place had turned into a muddy muck and most of the trails I remember them having had turned into mudbogs. TMLoftis got a call and had to leave shortly after we got to Sundog Trails and by the time SlyStevie was ready to head out, we were heading out of the trails. But, it was a fun experience nonetheless and a great opportunity to meet the people we talk to on here.

That said, here are a few pictures we took today. The complete album can be viewed here http://s835.photobucket.com/albums/z...2011th%202010/.

Parting shot with TMLoftis soon after we got to Sundog Trails

Taking a break after the mudbogged trails

Up a dune..

..and down

Vertical climb - thom1879

...and me doing the same

Cleaning up on the Canadian River

thom1879 splashes up some water

..and here it is

on a sandbar...

...and another splash

Some pics of a little flex on the way out...

If anyone else took some pics, feel free to share . I wish I'd taken some when we were in the mud. Man my JK was a mess - spent 3 hours from 5pm - 8pm trying to clean the mud out and there's still mud on the seats, dash, inside of the windshield, the roll bars.... arrrrrrrrrrgh!!

Looks like you guys had fun, I wish I could have stayed for longer. Maybe next time. We'll have to have another run sometime.

Had a great time! Nice meeting everyone. Have to do it again soon!

Took me forever to get the mud off, think there's still some hiding underneath!

I had a great time too, we'll have to do it again sometime with a little less mud next time. That clay stuff stuck like glue and was a PITA to get off. I talked to the owner on the way out and he said when it drys out he is going to go in with an earth mover and clean up some of the trails and eventually they're going to add some rocks.

We talked about maybe doing a weekend run to Disney - maybe get there sometime Saturday and do some wheeling, then camp overnight and more wheeling Sunday. I've never been to Disney myself yet - so not sure how much there is, but I've heard that there's something for everyone there. If there's any interest, we can start planning for one sometime in the future

I see I have tons of mud stuck in my bumper I still have to figure out how to get the mud stains off the seats. Wonder if I took the seat covers off and stuck them in the washer, if it'd shrink?

They'd told us that the last time we were there - which was April last year. I was kinda hoping they'd already done that by now, but maybe soon. But you're right - the next time, I'd sure love a lot less mud. I think I had my fill of mud for this year.
